About

About

Our great nation is blessed with an diversity of surplus food crops throughout the year. With a variety of climates, growing regions, and crop types, there is an abundance of food available. Yet, there are still millions of innocent children, elderly, or other at risk people who are terrorized by poverty and hunger. Any one would agree that it is tragic to let precious surplus food goes to waste in one region, while people are going hungry across the country. Unfortunately, that situation is very real. When independent food banks are forced to turn down donations of fresh produce, perishables, and surplus food products, transportation costs are often to blame.

Feeding America's Children was established to provide a transportation link between national food products donors (who have the food surplus) and the independently operated food banks across the country who distribute this life-saving food to those who need it most. Not only does Feeding America's Children help distribute much needed food, but through our efforts these food banks have a greater ability to provide a nutritionally balanced variety of food types to their clients on a consistent basis all year. Will you join us in helping feed the hungry and prevent food waste? Please donate today!
