ABOUT US

Children’s Emergency Medical Fund is a human health and welfare organization dedicated to compassionate efforts to implement activities and interventions that serve to elevate the quality of living for disadvantaged people around the world as well as in the United States.

Disadvantaged children are a priority concern for CEMF’s lifesaving assistance, that’s why we concentrate our efforts by helping needy children and their families who are suffering the hardships of poverty.

By networking with independent food banks, pantries, and churches we are able to help them better address the nutritious food needs of the children of their clientele. This can help alleviate the immediate life threatening problem of malnutrition as the agencies focus to help the families to become self-reliant for their nutritious food needs.

In addition, we are active with the community clinic in the Bicol region of the Philippines.

Simple medicines such as antibiotics were not readily available to the families of this community, and parents would often not take their sick children to government clinics for treatment because they could not afford to purchase the life saving medicine their children needed.

Children’s Emergency Medical Fund conducts ongoing health programs to help save and improve the lives of thousands of children in the community through the distribution of medical supplies, like antibiotics, educational training in sanitation and pre/postnatal care

Last year we also distributed hundreds of thousands of pounds of nutritious food, providing over 4,000 families with over 150,000 meals. Native America and Inner City children who are desperate for nutritious food are some of the recipients of our aid.
